Thank you so much for checking out my fundraiser for Barnardos Children's Charity. Through their services, Barnardo's strives to transform the lives of children, support parents, and challenge society to do more to ensure the well-being of our children.

My next adventure in October 2023 will take me to Nepal and Mt Everest Base Camp, one of the world's highest civilisations, to raise funds for Barnardos, which is doing wonderful work to help some of Ireland's most vulnerable children. I have fully funded the trip, so all money raised will go directly to Barnardos.

The trip will begin from Katmandhu, the first stop is Lukla Airport, which was previously named "the world's most dangerous airport." The airport has the world's highest and steepest runway.

From then on, I'll have 71 miles of trekking ahead of me, ascending to a height of 5,644m in below-freezing temperatures, with low oxygen levels, possible altitude sickness, and little hot water. Sounds great, anyone that knows me knows I love a challenge!

It will be the trip of a lifetime for me, giving up my comforts for a few weeks in exchange for raising money for a very worthwhile cause and the opportunity to see the world's highest mountain.
