Il più grande evento mai organizzato dal GarbaPlayground!

Siamo nati sui playground di Roma, il nostro legame è cominciato così, sul cemento della Garbatella, ed è proprio da lì che è nato il GarbaPlayground: molto più di un semplice torneo, molto più di un campo.

Dal 2022 organizziamo eventi 3vs3 per chi, come noi, ha sempre vissuto l’estate al campetto. Da un torneo tra amici siamo arrivati a coinvolgere il quartiere, a costruire una community e ad accendere le notti d’estate con luci, musica, passione e pallacanestro.

Oggi quel sogno è diventato qualcosa di concreto: abbiamo appena fondato l’APS GarbaPlayground, e per festeggiare vogliamo organizzare il primo torneo della nostra storia su due playground dello stesso quartiere, il 13 e 14 Settembre. Un evento aperto a tutti: U16, U18, senior maschile, e per la prima volta una categoria open femminile.

Sarà un torneo, sì. Ma sarà soprattutto una festa del quartiere: due giorni pieni di partite, musica, stand gastronomici, attività collaterali e persone. Stiamo coinvolgendo sponsor, attività locali, volontari e amici. Ora però abbiamo bisogno anche di te.

Ogni euro donato è un mattoncino per realizzare il nostro sogno.

The biggest event ever organized by GarbaPlayground! 

We were born on the playgrounds of Rome—our story began on the concrete courts of Garbatella. That’s where GarbaPlayground came to life: more than just a tournament, more than just a court. 

Since 2022, we’ve been organizing 3-on-3 events for those who, like us, have always spent their summers at the local playground. What started as a friendly tournament has grown into something bigger—we’ve brought the neighborhood together, built a community, and lit up summer nights with lights, music, passion, and basketball. 

Today, that dream has taken a big step forward: we’ve officially founded GarbaPlayground APS. And to celebrate, we’re hosting the very first tournament in our history across two playgrounds in the same neighborhood, on September 13 and 14. An event open to everyone: U16, U18, senior men, and—for the first time—an open women’s division. 

Yes, it’s a tournament. But above all, it will be a neighborhood celebration: two full days of games, music, food stands, side activities, and people coming together. We’re bringing in sponsors, local businesses, volunteers, and friends. But now—we need you too.
