Evan Christensen Memorial For Evey

Early Monday morning, Evan Christensen passed away unexpectedly. Evan will be deeply missed by all. Evan leaves behind a wife, Melinda, who is expecting their second daughter, and his beloved first child, Evey, as well as a large and loving family for whom the loss is incomprehensible.
This fund will benefit Evan's daughters Evey and his unborn daugther, Lor Marais. The funds will be used to help cover childcare, education, medical and any other expenses that Melinda incurs as a single mother raising two daughters.
Evan brought great joy to everyone that had a moment for a terrific cup of coffee and a bit of education to go along with it. Evan was a patient teacher to the staff that he guided each day, insisting on a high level of dedication from each of them. Evan enjoyed mixing and tinkering with coffee to test the limits of its compatibility and its ability to enhance other flavors into new and fascinating beverages. We will miss a "taste this" from Evan as we pass through the hall near his lab.

The entire proceeds of this fundraiser will be managed by Evey's grandmother to help Melinda ease her worries over the next few months. This memorial has replaced the original memorial fund to avoid any unnecessary tax ramifications that may be incurred by raising more than $20,000 for one person.
