Hello, my brother died unexpectedly on March 19, 2017 in Columbus, Ohio due to a cardiac arrest that left him in a coma for 4 days and brain dead.  My family is devastated.  He was my mother’s only son and first born.  He was 43 years old and a member of St. Thomas More Newman Center in Columbus, Ohio.  He loved to sing an active member of the choir and his voice uplifted the souls and spirits of many.  He also was an avid animal lover and would do anything to help a person in need. He came from nothing but was a positive light in so many people’s lives. 

Over the past two years, he struggled with diabetes which led to his toe being amputated and caused him to have to leave his work he loved.  He suffered a stroke last year and was slowly recovering from his foot surgery.  He was starting to feel like himself and just over the past two weeks developed a lung infection which brought on the cardiac arrest.  When my brother died, he took a piece of us with him. 

We are grieving the loss of our loved one and struggling to get money to pay for a proper funeral.  We need to bring him home to Kent, Ohio, so he can rest in heaven.  We are asking anyone who can donate to please donate to help us lay him to rest.  There is no amount to small.  All money will go to funeral cost and any money left over will be donated to the local APL.
