JUSTICE FOR JESSE

Many of you have been informed of the passing of Jesse Villa Sr.

Jesse died tragically on Sunday afternoon, July 22, 2018. He had just completed a bucket list trip to Alaska on his motorcycle. On his way home, he was in an accident in Rathdrum, Idaho, and died at the scene.

JESSE’S STORY

Jesse, an experienced rider, who always wore his helmet and safety gear, was not at fault. A young man driving a Ford F350 turned left into and collided with Jesse’s motorcycle. Jesse was thrown from his motorcycle and succumbed to his injuries.

Jesse was 68 years old and thriving; living out his retirement dreams to the fullest. He leaves behind a wife, four children, and four grandchildren. He was a beloved husband and father, family member and friend to many. He was a great man and an even greater presence in people’s lives. He always made an impact on every person he met. With his infectious smile and contagious chuckle, he would warm everyone’s heart.

Jesse leaves behind a legacy that will not soon be forgotten.

OUR CAUSE

As we mourn the loss of Jesse, the family’s next chapter has begun.

There is an ongoing investigation and an open case in Idaho. “Justice for Jesse” is to raise funds to cover legal fees, and travel expenses associated with the investigation. “Justice for Jesse” also wants to encourage the city of Rathdrum, Idaho, to install signal lights for traffic safety in this intersection. This location is known to the locals for having numerous fatalities. We would like to prevent a tragedy like ours from happening to another family.
