Our friend has been wrongly arrested due to a relationship that turned deeply harmful. She is not American and she is far from her family and most of her friends, with almost no support network in the US. She came to this country to work and build a better life. Unfortunately, her involvement with her ex-partner played a role in how she ended up in this situation.

She now faces serious legal and emotional challenges. She cannot leave the country, and she cannot afford the legal representation she needs. She has lost nearly everything.

We are now reaching out for help.

She needs support to help her with the legal fees, and eventually travel back home. We are unable to share many details of the case, as doing so could put her at further risk.
