Dear friends and supporters,

We are the South LA Youth Academy boys soccer team, a group of talented and hardworking athletes from low-income families, united by our love for the game and our dream of showcasing our skills on the national and international stage. Our goal is to represent South Los Angeles in two major tournaments: the Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup, one of the biggest college showcases in the U.S., and Gothia Cup in Sweden, the largest and most prestigious youth soccer tournament in the world, in July 2025.

For many of our players, soccer is more than just a sport; it’s a path to opportunity. Competing in these tournaments will allow us to be seen by college scouts and teams from around the world, opening doors to scholarships and life-changing opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.

However, as a team from an under-resourced community, we face financial barriers that make it difficult for us to fund our participation. We need your help to cover travel expenses, accommodations, tournament fees, and other necessary costs.
