I’m creating this page for my good friend Emily as she is currently recovering from major surgery.
Emily was diagnosed with colon cancer at the end of June.
She had surgery at Mayo Clinic in September and will start chemo in late October or early November.
For those of us lucky enough to know Emily; we know what a bright light she is in our lives. ☀️
She’s always happy, and enthusiastic in every area of life. She cares deeply about others and it shows in her daily life. She’s involved with providing sign language for the deaf. She’s involved in her Church and has a deep faith that shows in how she lives her life. She has many long time friends. She draws people in with her warm smile and kindness.
Her kids John(Olivia)Katie(Dustin) & Scott, are the most important people in her life. They are wonderful children to Emily and they are walking this journey with her.
She also has several sisters and brothers that have helped immensely in these most recent weeks.
Many friends have asked how can they help ?
This financial contribution will help Emily with medical and travel expenses as she continues to receive some of her care at Mayo Clinic.
