Many of you have been following the Pageau family and the 13-hour surgery Hunter recently went through followed by two weeks in the ICU. For those of you who are not aware, Hunter has a rare disease, SMARD, with he being 1 of 60 documented cases when he was born.

Unfortunately, Sharon let me know this morning (08/29) that Hunter needs to go back for emergency surgery. This is a critical situation for Hunter so both of his parents, Sharon and Adam, need to be fully present, which means they cannot work. And since Adam has used up all of his vacation and sick time at work so he could be present during the last surgery, they will have no income coming in to pay their bills. They also need help with the hospital expenses that their insurance doesn't cover. I hope you will join me in contributing funds to help Hunter.

The Pageau family is very dedicated and do all they possibly can to help meet all of Hunter's complex medical needs. Hunter brings joy and is an inspiration to all who are blessed to know him. Hunter's 16th birthday is September 29th. Let's all show Hunter how much we love and support him!!
