Elm Tree Teacher Assistance

Hello friends and families of Elm Tree School! We are so saddened and shocked by the news of the school’s closure.  Without appropriate notice, our amazing teachers have very limited time to find new employment, and do not qualify for unemployment compensation. 

Teaching, especially this age group, is one of the most trying and important jobs, but pays very little. Our hard working teachers have poured their time, energy, love, and personal resources into making this place a loving, safe, and fun environment for your children. 

We are all left at a loss for what to do next, but the beautiful community we have built together can continue to support each other through this transition. If you have any resources or funds to share as these teachers figure out their next step, monetary donations are greatly appreciated. If you don’t have the funds, just your love, support, and understanding are appreciated and crucial as we all move forward. 

We love you all and are so grateful for the time we have been able to spend together, and wish each and everyone of you and your children the best as you find your next steps.
