Hi, I’m Elliot Schofield. I’m 14 and I’m hoping to raise the money to travel to Borneo for 4 weeks in 2027 with an organisation called Camps International along with 25 people from my school. The full cost is £5700. My parents are helping, but I have to raise £3700 myself so I will be needing lots of help to raise this money (that’s why I have this page).

On the trip we will be participating in multiple activities including a week doing community work (construction etc), a week of environmental projects (like planting in the jungle), a jungle trek and getting our PADI open water scuba diving licence.

To raise this money I will be running events, stalls and doing odd jobs and cleaning for people I know. I’m also hoping to raise money from upselling Lego and selling 3D printed products.

The experience will be very challenging in many ways for me, not least the fundraising aspect as I struggle with saving and budgeting (it will be a great learning opportunity for me).

I greatly appreciate all support and promise to work hard on the trip to make a really positive impact on the community and environment when I go.
