More information about YWCA Greater Memphis: The YWCA is an international organization whose mission is to eliminate racism and empower women. Our focus in the Memphis, Tenn. region is to provide job readiness and employment training to the poorest zip code in the city. The focus is also to provide emergency housing to women, mothers and their children who are in imminent danger due to domestic violence. In addition, the funds will continually provide a safe haven for domestic violence clients and their children. All services are FREE of charge.
