Help Us Bring Life Back to Our Child

My name is Abeer, and I’m a mother to a little boy named Abdullah. We live in Gaza under siege, in conditions too difficult to describe.

Since the beginning of the war, we lost our home, dental clinic, and everything we once had.

Today, we are just trying to survive—not to live, just to get through each day.

The hardest part isn’t the bombing or displacement… it’s the hunger (Starving).

Abdullah is 15 months old, but every moment of his life has been shaped by war.

Even before he was born, I carried him through fear and displacement, counting the days to his arrival as explosions echoed around me.

He was born during the war. And instead of being welcomed into a world of peace and joy, he came into a world of destruction and fear.

Now he is growing up not knowing what a normal childhood looks like.

There is no milk. No fresh vegetables. No fruits, no clean water, even no food.

We try to calm his hunger with a piece of dry bread when we can find it, or a small sip of tea just to make him feel full.

I’m afraid he might suffer from malnutrition.

Every morning, I wake up asking myself:

What can I feed him today?

And many days… I have no answer.

I’m a dentist, and so is my husband. We used to help others. Now, we find ourselves needing help—not because we are weak, but because the situation has become too much to bear.

Even the smallest donation can bring a can of milk to Abdullah, or a simple meal to keep him going.

Please, help us live with dignity.

For a small child… and for the mothers who have nothing left to give.
