I’m running an ultra marathon to raise $10,000 to help couples access IVF and start their families.
After struggling with infertility, IVF helped my wife Alice and I welcome our little boy Arthur into the world.
IVF was one of the hardest things we’ve ever experienced, but it also led to the greatest thing that’s ever happened to us, we became parents.
Our journey wasn’t easy. Alice went through more than 140 injections, countless appointments, and emotionally draining setbacks before we finally saw a positive pregnancy test. Along the way we experienced failed transfers and an early miscarriage.
The financial side was just as challenging. Our IVF journey cost close to $100,000, wiping out our savings. We even had to borrow money from family and against our home just to keep trying.
Looking back, we would do it all again in a heartbeat, because it gave us Arthur.
Sadly, many couples never get the chance to keep trying simply because they can’t afford it.
That’s why I’m running an ultra marathon to raise awareness of more affordable IVF clinics like Adora Fertility and to raise $10,000, which could help around five couples begin their journey to start a family.
If you’re able to donate, it would mean the world to us and could help another family experience the same joy we have.
If donating isn’t possible, simply sharing this fundraiser can make a huge difference.
Arthur is the happiest little man, and coming home to hear him yell “Daddy” is the greatest gift in the world.
If Arthur’s story can help even one more family experience that same moment, every kilometre of this run will be worth it.
