In a few months, #ClearTheAir is hosting its first conference - The Educator Conference for Human Connection (ECHC)! Woooo!
The Educator Conference for Human Connection (ECHC) is a face-to-face event designed for educators to experience playfulness, connection, and flow, and to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to cultivate community and belonging in their contexts.
Why this? Why now?
We do not know what is in store for 2023, but we do know:
- Our individual and collective efforts for racial, educational, and social justice will continue in favorable and unfavorable climates.
- Community, learning, and joy will serve and sustain us in our work as educators.
- We need joy, laughter and silliness. The work is hard enough!
The road to collective liberation is bumpy and windy, but it is a road we must figure out how to travel together.
Why a Go Fund Me?
Our financial goals for the conference are simple - pay the bills. (I am not seeking any money for myself.) Your entire donation (minus fees and taxes) will help fund the Educator Conference for Human Connection.
Attending the conference or want to buy some cool conference related merch (coming soon!)? You will already be giving! Instead of giving any more, save money, book your travel or share this link with someone who may want to help.
Thank you!
Val :)
