Our dear family friend Kwamboka Okari needs our help!
Orenge, 7, Bronto, 9, and Ongeri,12 , have never attended school, not even public school because the father is unable to buy uniforms and other school requirements which are needed.
What is most appalling is that jiggers have made their home in the flesh of these boy’s toes and feet.
The first thing Kwamboka would like to do is to treat these boys so that they are jiggers-free. After that she would like to put them in school, not a public school because they will never catch up, but a private school. This means that these three boys will have to start from PP1 and PP2. A monumental task, but we have to start from somewhere.
The Margaret Okari Primary School, a school for orphaned and vulnerable children. However they are full for both orphaned and vulnerable children. They have a student population of 230. But have a few slots left for school fees paying students. We are raising the tuition money for the boys to go to school after the jiggers are removed.
Margeret Okari Primary School is a boarding school and will provide for uniform, beddings, toiletries, etc., bringing the total per child per year to $590 per year.
Please help us raise the fund to send these boys to school. A right every child should have.
