Severe and relentless flooding has devastated Central Vietnam, leaving thousands of families homeless, isolated, and in desperate need of food, clean water, and medical supplies. The destruction is widespread, and the road to recovery will be long.
Who We Are: The Edmonton Viets Association (EVA) is launching this urgent fundraising campaign to rally support not just from our local members, but from friends, neighbors, and compassionate individuals across Canada and beyond.
How Your Donation Helps: We believe in absolute transparency. To ensure your donation reaches the people who need it most, we have established a direct aid pipeline:
- Collection: All funds are collected securely by the Edmonton Viets Association (EVA) through this verified GoFundMe campaign.
- Transfer: 100% of the net proceeds will be granted to the Hue Friendship Association (Hội Thân Hữu Huế).
- Action: The Hue Friendship Association will coordinate directly with ground teams in Vietnam to distribute emergency relief to the hardest-hit areas.
Our Commitment: To kickstart this initiative and demonstrate our resolve, the Edmonton Viets Association is donating the first $5,000 CAD to the fund.
