From Your Heart To Hers: Help Support Addison's Family As She continues to Fight and make positive strides to a Full Recovery at the ICU at Duke Pediatric Center.
Addison is the daughter of Wanda Tompkins. She is my brothers girlfriend. Ron and Wanda have been togeather for about 5 years and Ron considers Addison as his daughter and has all the feelings as a daughter/ father relationship. I am setting up this fund to help with paying the bills of Addison's hospital stay Addison's stay in Duke's ICU ward is going to be expensive and I am hoping this will help out so they don't go to far in debt.
Since the beginning of December Addison was hospitalized with pneumonia. After a series of tests, the doctor determined that Addison had a high white blood cell count along with staph infections confirmed as MRSA. There are equally likely chances that her condition could worsen, stay the same, or resolve with treatment. As her family is trying to be optimistic, we all are hopeful that she will improve with the treatment she is currently on. Whatever the circumstances, the family and Addison will be there for a minimum of 3 weeks or longer.
As Addison's time in the hospital continues, the Family will need a lot of support, including financial assistance, given the seriousness of Addison's condition and the length of her hospital stay.
All the money raised will go directly to Addison's Family to cover the medical expenses and any other cost associated with her hospital stay.
The less the Family has to worry about, the more they can continue to wrap their arms around Addison as she tries to get better.
