This is Eddie. He is awesome.
Eddie was born with autism, developmental delay, and osteochondros (Osteochondrosis is a self-limiting developmental derangement of normal bone growth. It usually begins in childhood as a degenerative or necrotic condition.) Because of this condition, he had surgery on both hips to put in plates. It was a long battle that lasted years, but Eddie overcame.
Just this month, Eddie was diagnosed with cancer and unfortunately, due to the failures in the American health and legal systems, Eddie might not be able to get the care he so desperately needs and deserves.
Before his diagnosis, he was working with his social worker to get placed in a program that will help him achieve his dream career of working with computers.
