ECG machine-ICU Connaught Hospital Sierra Leone

My birthday is coming up soon - 14th August 2022 - and I’m hoping to raise funds for a cause that’s very close to my heart. This year I’d like to raise money to buy an ECG machine for the Intensive Care Unit at Connaught Hospital, Freetown, Sierra Leone, where my friend and schoolmate Dr Eva Hanciles is Head.

The Mindray BeneHeart R12 is a 12-lead, resting ECG machine with an 8-inch colour TFT display, characterised by its user-friendly operator interface with touch screen and high resolution. It’s the world's first device that considers age, gender, race, medication and type as diagnostic factors. In addition, it has the best algorithm in the industry.

I also need 10 packets A4 size(z fold) 210mmx295mm of EKG thermal sensitive recording paper to go with it.

The machine costs £2,915 and the paper costs £84.99.

The total cost is, therefore, £2,999.99.

I have over 1,000 Facebook friends. So just 300 people contributing £10 each will allow me to reach my goal.
