Cancer affects thousands of Tasmanian families every year. Whether it's a parent, grandparent, sibling, child, teammate or close friend, most of us know someone whose life has been touched by cancer.

Our Eastern Shore Jets Netball Club Junior Leadership Team wanted to make a difference that extends far beyond the netball court. We have chosen to support the S.H.E Gynaecological Cancer Group and its vision of creating Tasmania's first dedicated Cancer Wellness Centre.

While hospitals provide world-class medical treatment, many people living with cancer also need emotional support, practical assistance, connection and a safe place to focus on their wellbeing. The Cancer Wellness Centre will provide holistic services that complement medical care, including counselling, wellness and recovery programs, education, peer support, complementary therapies and accommodation for people travelling from regional Tasmania.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings this vision one step closer to becoming a reality.

Your generosity will help create a place where Tasmanians facing cancer can find hope, comfort and support throughout their journey. It will also show our young leaders the incredible impact that a community can have when it comes together for a cause bigger than itself.
