My Brother-in-law, Dwight Magnus, was recently diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer.  It was a shock to him and to family and friends as his lower back pain turned out to be cancer.  It will take Dwight possibly a year to go through all of the treatments and to try to go in to remission.  Therefore, he will be unable to work during this treatment process.  His wife, Diann,  is a teacher in Kingfisher and so it may be difficult to cover all of their bills in the coming year on an Oklahoma teacher's salary.  Dwight would never ask for this, but I do not mind asking on his behalf because I know how much it make a difference.
