On February 19th, 2014 we lost a best friend, a son, a brother, a future. Derek M. Cliffe was a victim to a senseless act of drunk driving and road rage on Highway 141. He was 26 years old and so full of life. Derek left a huge impression on everyone he met. He was kind, generous, selfless, loving and had so much oppurtunity before it was taken from him. Losing Derek has been one of the hardest obstacle his friends and family have ever had to face. We will always remember him and all the wonderful memories he gave us.
A way I would like to forever commemorate Derek is to raise $3000 and have a section of 141 named the Derek M. Cliffe Memorial Highway. I hope in doing this Derek and his life will be remembered even by those who didn't get the chance to meet him. I truly believe this cause can help reduce road rage/drunk driving incidents
All extra proceeds will be given to the MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) Association of St. Louis in Derek Cliffe's name.
