Drought Relief within our Community
Donation protected
Claire, one of our fabulous young veterinarians at Tatura Vet Clinic is part of a family who have a dairy farm in Tatura, Victoria.
Claire grew up on this dairy farm and no doubt this is where her love of animals and desire to become a vet came from. This dairy farm is the family's livelihood.
Unfortunately, Claire's family farm has been struck by drought, and she is now forced to watch her farm go under, there isn't a blade of grass left on the farm. They have no hay left and have no finances to purchase hay, so she is distraught as a vet and animal lover having to watch her cows with no food.
The family have sent their older dairy cows off on the truck - but still have 200 heiffers left with empty stomachs to feed.
It would be absolutely amazing if our community could get behind Claire and her family to help them through this difficult time.
Every little bit counts in this time of dire need. All proceeds raised will go to feeding the cows. Just $10 could give almost two loads of hay.
