As many of you know Don. He has such a big heart...So big that it overworked itself into needing a new one. He is currently at Cleveland clinic. He was admitted Feburary 8 to get some imaging and a heart cath and ended up winning a ticket to the heart failure intensive care unit. After a few weeks of testing, he was told he would need a (LVAD) Left ventricular assist device. A pump that will keep his heart pumping until he can get a new one. He is on the heart transplant list. He received his LVAD February 26 and is recovering from a successful surgery. He has have a long haul ahead of him.
