My name is Kate Smeal and I work with Jason Snedeker whose family was affected by the Chico fires. These funds will go directly to Jason Snedeker + family and will be spent on clothes, emergency supplies, basic necessities such as food, water, and temporary housing, and if there is anything left over it will be spent on finding permanent housing.
One of our employees out of the San Francisco office, Jason Snedeker, has been severely affected by the Chico Fires.
On Thursday November 8th Jason parents, Eric and Marcy Snedeker, were evacuated from their home just outside of Paradise, CA. They did not anticipate that their home would be affected by the fire so they only packed enough clothes for the weekend. They woke up at 5:30 AM on Friday to a looped-video of their home burning on the local news. They lost everything in the fire; every heirloom, every picture, all clothing and supplies.
The SF Office has already collected clothing, furniture, and other supplies and we’d love to raise at least $5K for the Snedeker family to get back on their feet.
