Running a Marathon for Our Furry Friends

Dear Friends,

I'm thrilled to announce that I will be running Newport marathon on October 13, 2024, but this isn't just any race—this one is for a cause close to my heart. I'm lacing up my running shoes to support Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, a dedicated organization that provides love, care, and second chances to animals in need.

Every day, this shelter works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, and find forever homes for abandoned and mistreated dogs. But they can’t do it alone. They rely on the generosity of people like you to help cover the costs of food, medical care, shelter, and the many other expenses that come with giving these animals a new lease on life.

I recently put our beloved dog, Simba, to rest. It has been the toughest phase of our life, however I believe he is still looking down with his happiest smile watching us helping his friends in need.

I’m running 26.2 miles to raise funds and awareness for this charity. My goal is to raise $1500 to ensure as many animals as possible have the chance to find their forever homes and live the happy, healthy lives they deserve.
