Hello, my name is Rosita. On the morning of November 22nd, 2024, I had to call 911 for an ambulance. They took me to the hospital, and I was quickly admitted. The doctors found that I had blood clots in my legs, and I had also developed diabetes. After a week of being hospitalized, I was discharged and went home. That was Thanksgiving of 2024. That night, I had to use the restroom, and once I was done, I found I was unable to stand up. I have no idea how long I was sitting there when I guess I passed out because when I came to, I was on the floor, half of my body in the bathroom and the other half outside the bathroom door (naked from my waist down). I dragged myself with my elbows onto the kitchen floor, and it was very cold. I was unable to call for help because I had left my phone in my bedroom on the bed. I don't know how long I was on that kitchen floor because I kept going in and out of consciousness. I remembered that I had turned on the furnace, and the only warm room in my house was right off the kitchen, so I dragged myself into that room and closed the door. I kept going in and out of consciousness. When I finally came to, I dragged myself over to the heat register by the window. I pulled down the curtain to cover myself. It was freezing and dark. I felt my way around and found a hammock that I had purchased years before. I opened it and tried to cover myself with that. The heat was coming up, so I was able to warm up a little but still wasn't able to stand up. All I could do was pray and cry. I begged the Lord to help me. I don't know how long I was laying on that floor when all of a sudden, I heard my name being called from outside the window. It was the police. Needless to say, my prayers had been answered. You see, I live alone with three beautiful dogs and a very handsome cat. I have no family living close by and no one that I could call because I didn't have my phone. The fire department was called, and they came in through the front door. When I asked how they knew that I needed help, they told me that someone had called from out of state asking the authorities to make a wellness check. I later found out it had been my sister from Virginia because she tried to call me and hadn't been able to contact me in 2 days, which means that I was on the floor for two days. When they took me to the hospital, I was completely dehydrated, I had pneumonia, and I had suffered a mild heart attack all by being on that floor for two days. I was admitted, and I found out that it was November 30th, 2024. I stayed in the hospital until January 1st, 2025. I was discharged to home with oxygen equipment, a wheelchair, and a walker. I was still alone in my home with my three doggies and my kitty cat. I received the visit of a nurse and a physical therapist, but they were only able to come out three times each. Since then, I was able to go to work, and I tried to get as much work as I could so I could make ends meet. Unfortunately, on May 9th, I was on my way to work, and I had a car accident. My car got totaled. I walked away with minor cuts and bruises. Shortly after that, I started having trouble when I stood up; I would black out. On June 12th, I blacked out and fell, and now I have a compound fracture of my L1 (lumbar). The pain is excruciating. Now I am unable to go to work, and my mortgage is in arrears. All my bills are backed up, and I don't know when I will be able to go back to work. I'm about to lose my home, my three puppies, my cat, and I will end up homeless if I am not able to work. Please, I need help desperately, and I have nobody I can turn to. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated. May God bless you all. Thanking you all in advance, ✨️
