Help Moataz and his family survive in Gaza

Hello Everyone,

I am very happy that you are reading my story. My name is Moataz Adnan, and I am from North Gaza. I am 28 years old.

I recently got married three months before the war, but unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy my new life as things turned out unexpectedly. Our house was bombed, and we survived under the rubble; sadly, my brother Emad was martyred. I lost my job; I used to work for a company that manufactures aluminum windows.

My wife and I were displaced to the south on October 13, 2023, initially to a refugee shelter in Deir al-Balah city, but conditions there were catastrophic, with no water, food, and contamination everywhere. We then left the shelter to go to Rafah city with my surviving siblings, where we lived in a small tent that provided no protection from the shelling, cold, or heat. Unfortunately, the tents in Rafah were bombed a few days ago, but my wife and I survived.

We decided to migrate again and return to the central area of Deir al-Balah. I contracted hepatitis A and survived. I am exhausted and unsure if I will survive or not. For the survival of my wife and me, I need $10,000. Why? We have nothing left; we lost everything. Our home, our belongings, everything is gone. We have a son who is just over one years old, and has not had a life outside of this war.

Please help us survive; help us escape genocide. You are our only hope for a decent life. I have no choice but to create a crowdfunding account to save us. This world is dark. I hope these won't be my last words and that my wife and I will survive with our child and have a future.
