My name is Katie Oxenhorn, and I met Jan Artress Smith in 2011, through my dad, Andy Oxenhorn. Jan has been a guide and a mentor to both of us, as well as my brother, for decades. She has helped me grow into the happiest and most authentic version of myself that I could ever imagine being...and a version of myself that, very intentionally, never stops growing. She has helped me and my family in ways that can never be measured...
If you're reading this, there is a good chance I don't need go on telling you all the ways that Jan has helped me because she has probably helped you too.
With all the guidance and raw wisdom she brings to her top tier coaching and personal development workshops, Jan has shown up for so many of us over the years, and now she really needs us to show up for her.
As you may know, for years, Jan has been dealing with an influx of medical issues: from blood clots, to malignant melanoma, to a slew of other diagnoses. As these diagnoses have piled up, so have her medical bills. She has (very vulnerably) expressed that she is out of options, and she needs our help. According to our treatment options in the U.S., Jan's prognosis is not good.
Thankfully, there is a cutting edge treatment option in Mexico that has a solid chance of saving Jan's life.
If this gofundme goal is met, Jan will participate in 4 – 6 weeks of cancer treatment at the Sanoviv Medical Institute
This would include cutting edge stem cell and immunotherapy and respiratory treatments that would bring much-needed cellular rejuvenation to Jan's body.
Jan has always served this community with an open heart, and I truly hope that we can reciprocate that now, when she needs us the most. Let's bounce all the love she's shown us throughout our journeys right back to her; let's help her get the treatment she needs so that she can stay with us on this planet for much more time.
Jan recently said this: "What matters to me is getting my energy back so I can continue to help others to re-invent themselves in a way that brings deep fulfillment and authentic expression. This is what is driving me to fight this with every ounce of my soul."
I hope what you've read here can help drive you too.
I'm not an expert on this situation; I'm just someone who loves Jan dearly, but if you have any questions you think I might know the answer to, feel free to email. If I don't know, I will forward to Jan.
