I started this GoFundMe to make sure Coco finally gets the care she needs. She’s scheduled for surgery next week—an abortion and spay procedure that we simply cannot afford without help.

Some of you may have already seen another GoFundMe that was set up by Jess “for Ian and Coco.” Unfortunately, not a single cent from that fundraiser has gone toward Coco’s medical bills or her recovery. When I asked Jess about it, she said she gave the money to Ian, and then accused me of “harassing” her just for questioning where the donations went.

To make matters worse, Jess went into Ian’s building and started talking about the situation with tenants. Now many of them don’t even want to pay her because of the drama she caused. Meanwhile, Coco is the one who continues to suffer without help.

The truth is: Mali is the only one actually helping Ian and Coco. Mali gave Ian a place to stay and even offered him an apartment with working utilities if Jess would just release the remaining GoFundMe funds. Instead, Jess has refused to do so, leaving Ian in the dark—literally—with no lights or utilities.

This fundraiser is different. Every dollar here will go directly toward Coco’s surgery and care, handled with transparency and proof. We want to make sure donations go where they were meant to go: to saving Coco’s life and keeping her safe.
