Donate to Russ's Battle with Colon Cancer
Doação protegida
Life changed in an instant when my brother, Russ, went to the hospital thinking he had pneumonia—only to receive the devastating diagnosis of Stage 4 colon cancer. At just 36 years old, he should be spending his days making memories with his family and watching his baby girl grow—not fighting for his life.
Russ is a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran who has always been a fighter. He served his country with honor, and now he’s facing the toughest battle of his life.
Just six months ago, he and his partner welcomed their beautiful daughter, Olivia, into the world. Becoming a father has been the greatest joy of his life, and he wants nothing more than to be here for her—to watch her take her first steps, say her first words, and grow up knowing her daddy’s love. But his battle just became even harder.
The cancer has already metastasized to his liver and lungs, making it extremely difficult for him to breathe. His oxygen levels have been dangerously low, and he has been in the hospital for weeks, now requiring oxygen 24/7. He is facing intense chemotherapy, surgeries, and other treatments in hopes of slowing the cancer’s spread and giving him as much time as possible with Olivia and the people who love him.
This fight is not just physically and emotionally exhausting—it is also financially overwhelming. We want to make sure that Russ can focus on his health and his family, not on the financial burden of treatment, medications, and daily expenses for our mom to be able to be by his side.
We are asking for your help to support him and our mother during this unimaginable time. Kristina needs to be by his side in the hospital until further notice which means she will be out of work indefinitely without any paid leave or vacation time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward his care, the support he needs to keep fighting, and his mothers bills so she can focus on him & not going back and forth between Las Vegas and Florida due to lack of funds. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word.
More than anything, we ask for your prayers, positive thoughts, and love as Russ battles this aggressive disease. He is not fighting alone, and with your support, we can help him stay strong for Olivia and his future.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
