Help Protect and Heal Our Brave Granddaughter

Our hearts are broken for my

granddaughter, she is only 7.

We recently found out her dad was

abusing her. I won't go into the horrific details other than he will hopefully go to jail!

It takes a bit of time for the prosecutor to do their investigations. In the mean time we need an attorney to complete our TRO and change of custody.

It's nice to live in a very democratic state, but it is difficult on victims well being. Our state is way too forgiving to the offenders sometimes. During the custodial battle we found and presented that he had 2 previous felonies for child abuse.. but they still gave

him half custody. This was when she was only 4. We believe that the horrible abuse has been going on for years. He threatened to kill her horse

and her whole family so my granddaughter was too afraid to tell us! Finally he gave her so many bumps on her head and blurred vision that she thought he was going to kill her. So she told us.

We do have a temporary TRO for now and court is scheduled next week to get a longer one. He has a lawyer.

We have an attorney willing to take our case but financial assistance is needed to pay his fees.
