Two years ago, my brother Octavio (otee) ended up in the emergency room with what turned out to be high blood pressure issues. During his stay at the ER, a CT scan revealed that he had an aortic aneurysm, his aorta is currently wider than normal. Due to the growth in width of the aorta, the objective at this point is to avoid further expansion. Even though the expansion can still occur, a surgery will be necessary to correct that. What ultimately needs to be avoided, is for the aneurysm to cause his aorta to expand too much, to the point where it ruptures. Fortunately, he has been able to keep his blood pressure under control since then, which has helped with further expansion of the aorta width.

What does make this concerning at this point is that since the CT scan results from

2 years ago, the width is about .3 cm away from needing surgery. This pretty much means that he will need the surgery regardless at some point, it's just a matter of time.

In 2015, he actually had this same surgery done, but for some reason, the problem has returned. Even though that the surgery went pretty well, he still had to get a pacemaker installed.

Being that he went through this procedure already, he knows at this point, he is not prepared financially for when it happens. Therefore, he is trying to get ahead of that issue, by asking for contributions towards this challenging experience. Any aid is more than appreciated and welcomed.
