On July 14, 2024 I received the worst call a mother or father could ever receive about their child.

My son, Luis Gonzalez Jr, was a victim of gun violence while in Chicago. He was the victim of an armed robbery where he was shot multiple times. We are very grateful that he is alive! God was looking out for my son that day. He had a guardian angel taking care of him.

Due to his injuries he is unable to work nor continue growing his small business.

To further complicate the matter, Luis Jr does not currently have any health insurance.
