Donate to Keep a Family Sheltered and Safe

Me and my partner are in a very bad living situation, one that we went into under the impression we’d be safe and comfortable and would be charged rent for such things. The situation has become extremely stressful and even dangerous, as I was threatened with physical violence by a housemate of relation to the owner of the home, who has been apathetic to the ordeal and has allowed things to escalate to the point it is now. We have 2 dogs, one of which we are seriously considering rehoming to give her a lifestyle that would be healthy for her, and also help us meet the demands of landlords in hope we can find a permanent housing situation for us and our 1 year old child. Giving up a beloved pet of 6 years is a heartbreak I wouldn’t wish on anyone, but at this time it feels it’s our only choice. I’m creating this crowdfunding account in hopes that it can help us afford a temporary fix by keeping us sheltered at a local extended stay hotel. It’s regrettable that we must even ask this of the public, but we have been left penniless after a mobile mechanic company took money for services and then proceeded to damage our car to a much more extreme extent, costing us the entirety of our savings accounts which when we first moved to our new city was over $3000. Any possible help that can be provided would help us move to a living situation that is considerably less toxic but would also give us hope that we will be able to in the future find permanent housing for our family. To anyone who reads this and donates to us or shares in hopes of helping us reach the aid we need, thank you very much, this was never what I wanted to have to turn to but it’s become our last resort.
