Help & Prayers For Ionela’s Cancer Treatments

Her name is Ionela Ivanciu. She’s in Romania, widowed, and recently been battling cancer that started as breast cancer and quickly spread to her lungs now. She is in critical condition and she only has her only daughter, Adelina, as support there. She needs blood transfusions as well. She can’t work and she needs all the help she can get to pay for her very expensive treatments.

I am Johnny and my Fiancé, Andra, considers Ionela as her second mother and Adelina as a best friend.

This is what Ionela’s daughter, Adelina, has to say in English and Romanian:

”I did not think that I would end up writing something like this, but I reached despair. I am asking from the bottom of my heart, my friends from Bucharest, if you can help me donate blood at the National Institute of Hematology or I think any blood donation institute that can transport urgently. For my mother, Ivanciu Ionela Silvia. Her doctor being Corina Borcea from the Marius Nasta lung hospital, ward 3 Bucharest. Anyone can, please with all my heart. It doesn't matter what blood type you have. Whatever is fine. He is in a very critical condition at the Marius Nasta hospital. I beg you.”

”Nu am crezut ca o sa ajung sa scriu asa ceva dar am ajuns la disperare. Va rog din suflet, prieteni de ai mei din Bucuresti, daca ma puteti ajuta cu donare de sange la Institutul National de Hematologie sau cred ca orice institut de donare sange care poate transporta urgent. Pentru mama mea, Ivanciu Ionela Silvia. Doctorul ei fiind Corina Borcea de la spitalul de plamani Marius Nasta, sectia 3 Bucuresti. Oricine poate, va rog din tot sufletul. Nu conteaza grupa de sange pe care o detineti. Orice e in regula. E in stare foarte critica la spitalul Marius Nasta. Va rog din suflet.”

Ionela doesn’t have any recent pictures so her daughter supplied us one but from many years ago.

update 10/20/23: She is still in treatment. 3x a week she is doing chemotherapy. Doctors were worried about the outcome but are now saying that she has some progress. But she still needs support for food, clothing, medication, and treatments. So far everyone’s donations have done so much to help and she is very thankful to have others support her.
