Jeff here. As most of you know, I’m no longer on social media. Regardless, this is important to me, so we’ll see how it goes with minimal outside exposure. With SNAP benefits in jeopardy, people in our Houston community need us. People in dire need of nutritional assistance are going to be forced to do without. My immediate concern is mothers. There’s no doubt many mothers will be forced to skip meals to ensure their children don’t go without food. My goal is to raise $500, $100 of which I intend to donate myself. If just four people would donate $100, we could easily meet this goal, but every little bit helps. In the south, we know food is love. As the people in power continue to fail us, it’s more important than ever for us to show love to one another.
