Brodyn had an extreme medical emergency due to a virus that caused swelling around his heart. He had to be flown to Saskatoon for an emergency procedure and then to Edmonton where he is now. His parents, Christina and Neal, are by his side and away from work. They have a long road ahead of them. He will have months of recovery where they will be in Edmonton and Saskatoon.
