As many of you may already know, our dear friend and colleague, Nancy Colby, underwent quadruple heart bypass surgery today, September 5. The procedure was necessary due to a 77% blockage in her main artery—commonly referred to as the “widow maker”—affecting both the front and back of her heart.

We’re relieved to share that the surgery was successful, and she is currently recovering in the ICU at a local hospital. While this marks the beginning of her healing journey, she faces a long road ahead.

Since the passing of her husband in 2023, she has been doing her best to stay financially afloat. This unexpected medical event brings with it significant expenses and added financial stress. Any support you can offer—whether financial, emotional, or simply words of encouragement—would mean the world to her and help ease the burden during this challenging time.
