Donate to Diane and Don's Recovery Fund

If you've been part of the Island Fitness community in the past 22 years, you likely know Diane Peterson. Diane has worked with us for more than 20 years and is a foundational member of our professional training team.

Tragically, Don, her husband of 29 years, was diagnosed with glioblastoma in July. He has undergone one round of radiation and chemotherapy with more to come.

At this time, Don is stable but still recovering from the effects of the massive surgery and treatment.

They have had to sell their family dive business, which Don operated, and Diane has had to step back from work at Island Fitness.

It's been a trying year for Diane and Don, even before this, having lost their cherished dog Ranger in June and Diane's father this past winter.

We're putting together this fundraiser because expenses are adding up. Even though insured, there are numerous expenses, not to mention the shortfall from lack of income.
