Those who know Alicia know that she is a force to be reckoned with. Even the fiercest of forces, though, still need their community to provide strength and support. Alicia Hills-Bahe, is now needing our support. Alicia was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Stage 4, last October 2024. Alicia underwent four grueling rounds of intense chemotherapy, and by the grace of the Creator and the universe, the cancer is gone! Being the Warrior of Light that she is, she has beat cancer. Needing the time now to allow her body to heal and recover, she needs our help to pay the related medical expenses.

It took four different chemo drugs and many blood transfusions, that cost several hundreds of thousands of dollars, for her to be healed. Alicia was denied her $20K "Critical Illness" payment due to the insurance company deeming the cancer as "pre-existing" and the policy being "too new." Alicia has been on short-term disability and not working since the end of November and is now being hit with the costs of copayments for her life-saving treatments, totaling in the tens of thousands. Alicia gives of herself freely and is an anchor of strength to those around her. I am asking for her community now to rally and wrap their support around her. While she and her family remain very hopeful and optimistic that the cancer itself is gone, she still has a long and challenging road ahead as her body heals itself from the chemo treatments. Let's help give her peace of mind by covering medical costs as she continues the real work.
