Duncan’s Urgent Medical Care
Donation protected
Hello! I have recently learned that a therapy dog named Duncan is in need of some major medical care. His owner is Lori Hainer, who works as a psychiatrist liaison at Jameson Hospital. She also works with special needs children and volunteers in many community functions along with her sidekick, Duncan. They always show up and give their all to support those who need it most. Now it’s our turn to give our support.
Lori has recently found out that Duncan has significant heart blockage, an arrhythmia, a possible mass in his liver, and kidney failure. She made an appointment for him with a cardiologist in Pittsburgh; that alone is expected to cost between $900-$2,000. She had to bring him to VEG in Pittsburgh Sunday, due to not being able to ambulate steadily. He did recover, but she was told it could happen again and possibly be fatal. She is a single dog momma doing her best, working many jobs and getting out in the community to help others. She is determined to do EVERYTHING she can to get Duncan the care he needs; however, she desperately needs our help. They will accept all the prayers, and, if you are able to make any monetary donation, no amount is too small. Lori and Duncan would be so eternally grateful.
