My name is Gabriela Llanes (Gaby), and I live on Long Island, New York. I am a single mother of three beautiful girls who are my motivation, my whole world, and the reason I am setting my pride aside today to ask for help. A year and a half ago, my life changed dramatically. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer and, at the same time, an autoimmune disease called retroperitoneal fibrosis. Together, these conditions have caused a fierce battle within my body. I have undergone multiple complex and painful surgeries. My most recent surgery was just three days ago, on October 19, 2026. It was a very delicate procedure during which doctors worked extensively to remove the mass affecting me. As a single mother, my greatest fear has never been the physical pain. It is the fear of being unable to provide for my daughters—or, worse, leaving them alone. Because of my surgeries and exhausting medical treatments, I am completely unable to work. I have no savings, and medical expenses, rent, utilities, and the everyday costs of caring for my three girls continue to pile up. Today, I am recovering in a hospital bed, in pain but holding on to unwavering faith. I fight every second because my daughters need me healthy and back home. How can you help?
