At a time when a family is going through a big transition in their life, the last thing they need is more chaos. While the Trovillion family has lived in Indiana for many years, they are Michigan natives and decided to return to their roots. Unfortunately, as they were having their belongings moved from Indianapolis to their new home - disaster struck.

Their belongings were destroyed when the movers they had hired experienced an accident, the end result being that most of what was being transported was destroyed and what little that was salvaged from the wreckage was in too poor of a condition for them to use. Derek, Kristen and their baby Elijah are literally starting from scratch. There will hopefully be some relief headed their way once the insurance companies sort out who was at fault for what and how much they are entitled to receive. While that will be a start to help them rebuild their lives and make new memories in their new home, it doesn't do them much good over the short run, nor will it replace the sentimental value of the items they lost.
