Django Girls PDX October Workshop!

Django Girls PDX needs your help! While we've historically relied on sponsorships from local corporations, we've come up dry for our next event in October .
In case you haven't met us, hi! We're a volunteer chapter of Django Girls, an international non-profit that teaches women to program for the first time via fun and free workshops.
We've put on five workshops in Portland and have taught hundreds of women the fundamentals of programming with the help of local software engineers volunteering as coaches.
This fundraiser covers the difference between what we have in the bank and what we budget needing for our October event.
The funds go to:
- Childcare for attendees
- Meals for attendees (we provide three full meals!)
- Snacks and refreshments during the event
- Coffee
- Decorations
This support means a lot to us organizers. We're hoping to be able to work with corporate sponsors again in the future, but for this event we absolutely need the support of our community.
