Diane Littles Celebration Of Life

It saddens me to inform everyone that Diane Littles transitioned on April 28, 2022, around 8pm.

On April 9th, Diane was admitted to the hospital after experiencing fatigue, shortness of breath, and a lack of appetite. After testing negative for COVID, doctors determined she had severe pneumonia. She was placed on a ventilator for just over two weeks. There were good days and not-so-good days, but I watched her fight for her life day in and day out. Ultimately, she passed after going into cardiac arrest.

She leaves behind her mother, Catherine, who she’s dedicated the last few years of her life to taking care of to make sure her remaining years are as happy and comfortable as possible. She also leaves behind her brother, Rodney, myself (her daughter), grandson, the Littles family and extended family.

Diane has positively affected so many lives. She was a mother, sister, and mentor to countless people. Almost every phone call, text message or dm is someone telling me how my mother changed their life or made it better in some way. She had the unique ability to say just the right thing to put somebody on a better life path. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she’s impacted.

In an effort to keep her 96-year-old mother, Catherine, protected from the currently increasing COVID numbers, a very small private funeral will be held for Diane Littles.

In order to properly celebrate her life with the many lives she has touched, a memorial in her honor will be held in both New York and the Washington, D.C. area.
