Devastating wild Brush fire destroys our home
Donation protected
On Tuesday September 8th, 2020, a freak brush fire broke out over the Mima Mound Area of Littlerock Washington. Thankfully both my mom, Cindy, and dad Robert were at work when it occurred so they are alive and safe, but our home, which my dad painstakingly envisioned, built and paid off over the last 40 years was not as lucky. This was my childhood home, and and the place my parents envisioned retiring in less than a year after a lifetime of hard work. We happened to be very unlucky as our home was one of only two structures in the entire area that burned to the ground, with our beloved dog Sissy trapped inside. Sadly it’s the pieces of our life that can’t be replaced that hurt the most. My parents are lost and broken, currently homeless living out of a suitcase, and staying with family. We have decided to rebuild, as this was their favorite piece of the world, and the place they wanted to grow old in as they start their retirement. I know that these are troubling times, with COVID, and job loss, but anything can and WILL help. If you have it in your heart to share this page, but most importantly donate anything you can to my hardworking sweetheart parents I know that you will help rebuild an entire life taken in a matter of hours from my family. Thank you, your help, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
