The Desert United Boys 2009 Soccer Team has been invited to travel to the Gothia Cup in Sweden in July 2024!
The Gothia Cup is the largest international youth soccer cup tournament in the world. It will have over 80 Nations participating in over 4,700 matches in cities like Orby, Varberg and Gothenburg, Sweden.
Our 2009 boys' team will have this unforgettable experience on July 10th-21st, 2024. They will compete in several games during the 10-day tournament. But we need your help to get our 15 players there, along with our coaches, and chaperones. Your support will help these young boys from throughout the entire Coachella Valley to fulfill their dream in this international cultural experience. The team’s goal is to raise $55,000 to cover travel expenses, lodging, registration fees, and uniforms/soccer gear. These young boys are talented and work hard training year-round, while keeping up their GPA. With your support, this youth soccer team will represent Coachella Valley in this prestigious tournament.
