My name is Jeff, and I’m the youngest of four children. My mother, Delia Salado, is a vibrant, thoughtful, loving, caring woman who has always been the heart and soul of our family.

She enjoys gardening, cooking, and family gatherings, and her smile lights up any room she enters.

Sadly, my mom has struggled with diabetes and in 2011 she suffered a heart attack that left her with three working chambers in her heart due to no blood flow. On May 15, 2024, she experienced a major ischemic stroke. After an intense and critical transfer to another hospital, she underwent a thrombectomy to remove a clot in her brain. The procedure was successful in saving her life, but complications from the stroke and within a week after the surgery the stroke turned hemorrhagic, meaning she was bleeding in her brain. Leaving her with aphasia and paralysis, left her unable to speak or use the right side of her body.

She spent over a month in the hospital and later transferred to rehab, where she showed some progress with physical and speech therapy. Now home, she requires 24/7 care and limited therapy due to resource constraints. Despite this, she is determined to regain her strength and life back.

It is estimated the journey flights ✈️ for 3 myself my mom and a nurse to care for her for the entire trip, hotel for 7-10 days enough time to receive the first and second injection,food, Rent a wheelchair van and injections Plus GoFundMe takes their share, will cost around $40,000

Any funds received over the medical costs and travel to Florida to receive these injections will go towards her therapy in Modesto.

• Medical Treatment (3 injections): $25,500 ($8,500 per injection) plus $1000 consultation fee.

• Round-trip flights (2 trips, first-class)$7600

($1,200 per ticket x 3 tickets = $3,600 tickets)

• Accommodations in Boca Raton: $2,000 (estimated $200 per night x 10 nights total)

• Ground Transportation: $500 (rental wheelchair van and local travel for 2 trips)

• Meals: $600 (estimated $30 per day x 20 days total for patient and caregiver)

• Miscellaneous Expenses: $900 (emergency medical supplies, fees, or incidentals)
